About The Village Wine Merchant.
At VWM, we believe that your enjoyment of wine should be a fun, adventurous, and satisfying experience.
Customers should never feel overwhelmed or intimidated by choices so we use our small size to your advantage. We're very selective. We taste everything and choose quality wines at all price points. Almost of the wines we sell are made by small, conscientious producers. We have great confidence in our selections and in this way we can eliminate the guesswork for you.
We don't believe that a "highly rated" wine is necessarily "better" than another wine just because it was reviewed in a publication. Everyone has different taste preferences and for us, wines are situational and seasonal. We want to help you find great quality and value in wines that you’ll enjoy.
The more you know, the better we can serve you. As such, we’re committed to giving our customers consistent opportunities to experience wine and spirits with frequent tastings, food and wine events, and educational classes.
At VWM we’ll work with you and your budget to craft the perfect experience. Our expertise in helping you choose from a carefully vetted collection can help you discover the right wines and spirits for your occasion.

Our team and current favorites.
For me it's all about the food pairings. Great Pinot Noir with salmon, sea salt, and Italian parsley. BBQ lamb with red Zinfandel. Combinations like these are the cornerstones of epic evenings.
In my position I get to taste a lot of wines so I value wines that are different and reflect a unique personality.
Prior to working at VWM I always drank familiar things like Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio as my wines of choice. Now I love to experiment with wines made from different grapes that I would never have considered or known about before working here.
As a social wine drinker I like wines that stand alone and can pair with food. Flavor is important as well as a smooth finish to the taste.
I'm continuously pleasantly surprised by new finds here...
