100% Sangiovese Super Tuscan from the iconic Isole e Olena estate
Nose of red fruit and blue florals
Luscious fruit start off the palate. Dark cherries, red plumb, fresh cranberries, tobacco, green tea, cedar and spice. The tannins are polished. Quite expressive, yet somehow so light on its feet. The acidity makes this great for pairing, but this is not worth drinking now. Not because it isn’t enjoyable, but because it shows incredible promise for 2033+.
